Want to make Captain Jack Sparrow's costume from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl but don't know how? Well, welcome to my Costume Study page. Here I research Jack's outfit and give you pictures so you can make your own (or at least know how to). Penny Rose (the costume designer for the movie) is fantastic. She recreated very period costumes adding touches of flair here and there. The dresses she made for Elizabeth are exquisite. But here I am only researching Jack Sparrow's costume. The problem with trying to figure out what he is wearing is that he wears many layers and there aren't many pictures of the underlayers. So, some of the descriptions are pure speculation based of the bits and pieces that are available. So, have fun!!!
